GASCO OH&S activities

The health and safety “OH&S” department in GASCO typically execute a variety of activities to ensure the safety of employees and the surrounding environment also to protect company assets

Here are some common activities that they perform specially in operation, maintenance and projects:

  • All GASCO sites certified for safety management system “ISO 45001” to manage all health and safety related work activates , and OH&S certified staff manage and review this system by conducting internal audit , management review , .. ect to evaluate the system and identify the needs to ensure the continual improvement concept.
  • OH&S departments conducts risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace for all routine and non- routine activities.
  • OH&S department provides training and education on a variety of safety-related topics to all employees and contractors from certified staff or agencies (internal and external training).
  • Our qualified and trained OH&S staff conducts regular safety inspections of the facilities and equipment to ensure that they comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • OH&S department develops emergency response plans for all GASCO sites and trains employees on how to respond in the event of an emergency. They conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of the plans and make adjustments as necessary.
  • OH&S department ensures that all employees are provided with appropriate PPE to protect them from potential hazards and ensure that all contractors and subcontractors in all sites also wearing suitable PPE.
  • OH&S department conducts process safety studies for existing facilities and also new projects such as QRA , FERA , HAZOP , HAZID , HAC.
  • OH&S department investigates incidents that occur in the workplace to determine the root cause and develop corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
  • OH&S department manages contractors working on all GASCO sites to ensure that they comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • OH&S department manages changes “Management of change (MOC) to the process and equipment that could impact safety. They evaluate the potential risks associated with the change and develop plans to mitigate those risks.
  • All GASCO sites are covered with different firefighting and fire alarm systems, and our crew are responsible for inspection and tests these systems to measure its efficiency for quick response during any emergency case.
  • OH&S department implement behavioral safety programs to encourage safe behavior among employees. These programs involve identifying and addressing unsafe behavior, promoting positive safety attitudes, and providing feedback on safety performance and rewarded who is worth according to his safety KPI.
