A protocol of cooperation between Gasco and DESFA
On 20th October 2024, on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Offshore Conference (MOC), Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, witnessed the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) between GASCO and DESFA to strengthen collaboration in natural gas and hydrogen transportation, carbon capture and storage, and sustainable energy solutions. The agreement emphasizes the exchange of technical expertise and knowledge in gas, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide infrastructure while exploring joint investment opportunities to enhance Egypt’s role as a regional energy trade hub. The memorandum was signed by Eng. Yasser Salah El-Din, Chairman and Managing Director of GASCO, and Maria Rita Galli, CEO of Desfa, highlighting the commitment of both nations to advancing energy cooperation.

On 20th October 2024, on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Offshore Conference (MOC), Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, witnessed the signing of protocol of cooperation between Gasco and BakerRisk to foster collaboration in process safety, energy efficiency, and decarbonization. The agreement facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the development of advanced software for these fields, and leveraging GASCO’s capabilities in conducting relevant studies. Additionally, it includes joint efforts in training, awareness, and skill enhancement in process safety and energy efficiency, applied across various BakerRisk projects globally. The memorandum was signed by Eng. Yasser Salah El-Din, Chairman and Managing Director of GASCO, and Wayne Rebish, Director of International Business Development and Marketing at BakerRisk.
