Our policy supports maintaining a sustainable development through our project and operations, while protecting the environment and conserving resources and adapting climate change mitigation strategies For GASCO it is essential that our employees, assets and environment are safe and secure therefore we think of health, safety and the environment (HSE) in every part of our projects.

Gasco HSE department is responsible for:

  • The planning process for accident and ill health prevention.
  • The QRA and HAZOP and HAC studies for the pipelines and its facilities

Environmental aspect evaluation is a systemic approach to identify and control all aspect of our project effecting the environment and the society either in a harmful or a beneficial way.

Safety plays a key role in keeping the project on schedule and on budget, so HSE is involved in the projects different phases (design and construction.

  • ESIA and RAP studies to examine the potential impacts that could result from the gas pipeline project or gas processing plant project.
  • QRA studies a formal and systematic approach of identifying potentially hazardous events, estimating the likelihood and consequences of those events, and expressing the results as risk to people.
  • HAZID and HAZOP studies to investigate how the system or plant deviate from the design intent and create risk for personnel and equipment.
  • HAC studies helps to identify potentially explosive area, determine extent of zone and need for special equipment within different zones.
  • Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis (HIRA) is a collective term that encompasses all activities involved in identifying hazards and evaluating risk at facilities.
